Sub: Company Update - Full Settlement of Outstanding Dues with Phoenix ARC

Pursuant to Regulation 30 and other applicable provisions of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, as amended (“SEBI LODR”), we wish to inform you that Vardhman Polytex Limited (“the Company”) has successfully repaid and settled the entire outstanding dues of Phoenix ARC Private Limited.

The aforesaid repayment has been made from the proceeds of the Non-Convertible Debentures (NCDs) issued by the Company. Consequent to this payment, the earlier default that was being reported to the Stock Exchanges on a quarterly basis in compliance with applicable provisions of SEBI LODR stands fully cured and resolved.

This repayment will trigger write back of approximately Rs.300 Crore pertaining to previous debt settlement liabilities.
