Resignation from the board of Vår Energi ASA

Sandnes, Norway, 30 August 2024: Ove Gusevik has informed Vår Energi ASA ("Vår

Energi" or the "Company", OSE: VAR) that he has decided to resign from his

position as board member in order to focus on assignments for HitecVision. The

resignation is effective as of 01 September 2024.

Chair of the board, Thorhild Widvey, thanks Gusevik for his valuable

contributions to the Company during his tenure. The election committee is in the

process of finding a replacement for Gusevik, and an extraordinary general

meeting for the purpose of supplementing the board is expected to be called

shortly.
