Provident Financial plc, the leading UK non-standard lender, is today hosting an Investor & Analyst Event.

The event will cover developments in both of the group's businesses.

The session on the Consumer Credit Division (CCD) will provide more detail on the medium-term repositioning of the business, including broadening the customer and product proposition through online lending. The presentation will explain the transition through 2014 and 2015 to a smaller, higher-quality Home Credit customer and receivables base with corresponding cost savings derived from greater operational effectiveness and cost efficiency enabled by the roll-out of mobile technology.

The session on Vanquis Bank will provide an update on developments within the UK business as well as providing a more in-depth look at the Polish operation.

The event will not include an update on current year trading performance.

Presentations will be made by the senior management teams of both CCD and Vanquis Bank. The presentation slides will be available on the company's website, www.providentfinancial.com, at 10.45am in conjunction with the commencement of the event.
