Resignation of Director

The board of Provident Financial plc wishes to announce that Robert Hough, who has been a member of the board since February 2007 and the senior independent non-executive director since May 2009, left the board on 31 January 2013.  The board would like to thank Robert for his significant contribution over the past six years and wishes him well for the future.

Manjit Wolstenholme has assumed the role of senior independent non-executive director with effect from 31 January 2013.
