DM steigern, während das Ergebnis von 5,2 auf 2,7 Mio. DM zurückging. Insbesondere die gestiegenen Rohstoffpreise, der erhöhte Margendruck aufgrund eines aggressiv geführten Verdrängungswettbewerbs sowie die Investitionen in den neuen Produktionsstandort Polen führten zu dieser Entwicklung. Im zweiten Halbjahr 2000 wird UZIN in Deutschland seinen hohen Marktanteil weiterhin verteidigen und zusätzlich in ausländische Märkte, wie z.B. Polen, Frankreich und China sowie in das Logistikzentrum am Standort Ulm überproportional investieren. Daher rechnet UZIN zum Jahresende mit einem höheren Umsatz und einem Ergebnis unter Vorjahr. In particular, higher raw material prices, the increased pressure on margins due to an aggressive competition as well as investments in the new production facility in Poland have led to this development. In the second half-year 2000, UZIN in Germany will continue to defend its high market share and additionally make long- term investments in foreign markets, e.g. Poland, France and China, as well as in the logistics centre in Ulm.
