Scheme Effective

On 20 March 2018 the Board of Utilico Emerging Markets Limited (the "Company") announced that at the Scheme Meeting, held in connection with the recommended proposals for the reorganisation of the Company in order to effect its re-domiciliation to the United Kingdom, Shareholders voted in favour of the resolution to approve the Scheme.

The Board is pleased to announce that today the Scheme has been sanctioned by the Supreme Court of Bermuda and a copy of the Court order has been delivered to the Registrar of Companies in Bermuda for registration.  The Scheme has therefore become effective.

Implementation of the Scheme is conditional on Admission of the UEM Trust Shares to be issued pursuant to the Scheme which is expected to take place on 3 April 2018.
