Ad hoc-Service: Openshop Holding AG Englisch
Ad hoc-announcement edited and sent by DGAP. The sender is responsible for the content of this announcement. —————————————————————————— Large-Scale License Contract Concluded for the British Market Openshop wins freecom as strategic partner Openshop Internet Software GmbH has concluded a large-scale license contract for its flexible eBusiness products Openshop Business and Openshop Hosting with the British application service provider freecom.net plc., UK. The license contract will run for three years and will be rounded off by a support agreement and a promising development cooperation especially geared for the business solution and the connection to Pegasus, the freecom-own ERP system. “With freecom, Openshop has achieved a powerful standing in the British market” as Mr.Edwin Binder, Manage of Openshop Internet Software GmbH, points out. “Not only the flexible underlying Openshop core technology but also the openness which enables integration in legacy ERP systems have led to our decision for a strategic partnership with Openshop. And of course we have taken advantage of the share float to underpin our business relationship by acquiring roughly 1 % of the shares of the Openshop Holding AG,” explains freecom when asked about its reasons for joining up with Openshop. freecom is the market leader in web-hosting solutions in Britain and, by entering into the strategic partnership with Openshop, is driving its efforts to gain a substantial foothold in the American and German markets. Pegasus, an ERP software vendor, acquired by freecom for just this purpose, has almost 60,000 installations to be upgraded for eCommerce with help of the Openshop software.
