Openshop Holding AG announces the acquisition of base technology for high-end eBusiness solutions from OAR Development AG, Hanover, Germany (formerly COIN Corporate Interactive). Through this strategic take-over, Openshop has recruited a team of 38 highly qualified employees to open a further branch in Hanover at the beginning of June – after having established a branch in Wiesbaden on May 1, 2001 which focuses on logistics consulting. Backed by cash and equivalents totaling DEM 154 million and equity capital of DEM 165 million (as of March 31, 2001), the acquisition represents a giant step forward in Openshop’s plans to expand its activities.
