MARKET ANNOUNCEMENT

• 34 USCOM units ordered by Spacelabs Healthcare

Thursday, 5 March 2009: Uscom (ASX Code: UCM) today informed shareholders that its new partner Spacelabs Healthcare has placed orders for a further 34 USCOM units. Some of the units will be used to support Spacelabs marketing activity whilst the remainder are for inventory ready to meet expected customer demand over the coming months. The units are to be delivered over the next four months.

Uscom CEO, Mr. Paul Butler said “These orders from Spacelabs demonstrate the enthusiasm with which they are taking the USCOM 1A to market and their confidence in the product. I have been involved in the Spacelabs product launch over the past two months and I am pleased with the interest that has been generated in the market.”

The Company received the necessary regulatory clearance for the United States market in February 2005 with the receipt of a 510K Pre Market Notification from the US Food & Drug Administration (FDA).
