Adjournment of AGM
Tuesday 8th of November 2011: Uscom (ASX code: UCM).
The board of USCOM announces that the 2011 AGM was adjourned this morning for 2 weeks to 11:30 am on the 22nd of November 2011 at the office of PKF Chartered Accountants & Business Advisers, Level 10, 1 Margaret Street, Sydney NSW 2000, following the receipt of allegations from investors in the company that may lead to legal proceedings.
At the meeting various investors declared that were Mr. Rob Phillips to cast his vote as a shareholder in favour of the removal of Messer’s Kiely and Bonitz and those directors in fact were removed from office, those investors would take legal action against the company to recover funds previously subscribed.
The board will be exploring all avenues to resolve this dispute.
The chairman has indicated that voting at the reconvened meeting will be made by Poll
The proxies previously submitted for the 2011 AGM will remain valid unless specifically revoked or altered. The closing time for any new or amended proxies will be Sunday 11:30am Sunday 20[th] of November 2011.
