On September 23, 2009, upon the recommendation of its Compensation Committee, the Board of Directors of Unitil Corporation (“Registrant” or the “Company”) approved a new Employment Agreement between the Company and its Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer, Robert G. Schoenberger. The new Employment Agreement is effective as of November 1, 2009. A copy of the Employment Agreement is attached to this Form 8-K as Exhibit 10.1.
