Board Change

United Oil & Gas Plc announces that Tom Hickey has notified the Board of his intention to step down as independent Non-Executive Director (NED), Chair of the Audit and Risk Committee and a member of the Remuneration Committee following his appointment as Finance Director of Kenmare Resources Plc announced today. Tom will step down from the Board on 23 September 2022 prior to taking up the Kenmare role.

The Company is committed to good governance and a search process to find a Board successor to Tom has commenced with a view to maintaining the right skills, experience and diversity to align with the Company's strategic goals. The result of this process will be announced in due course.  Graham Martin will Chair the Audit and Risk Committee until a new NED is appointed.

Tom's commitment and wealth of experience has been invaluable during United's transition into a producing company.  Tom will be missed and we are sad that he will not be part of the next phase of growth of the business.
