United Labels AG records further revenue growth in third quarter

The issuer is solely responsible for the content of this announcement. —————————————————————————— – Consolidated revenue increases by 7.2% to EUR 29.9 million – EBIT stands at EUR 0.3 million – Order intake reaches EUR 10.6 million Münster, Nov. 7, 2006 – United Labels AG (ISIN: DE 0005489561), a company specialising in comicware sold under licence, increased Group revenue to EUR 29.9 million (prev. year: EUR 27.9 million) in the first nine months. This represents growth of 7.2%. EBIT rose to EUR 0.3 million (prev. year: EUR 0.1 million). The loss after taxes was EUR 0.2 million (prev. year: loss of EUR 0.2 million) due to the reversal of deferred taxes in the amount of EUR 0.3 million. Group revenue grew to EUR 9.8 million in the third quarter (prev. year: EUR 9.5 million). The loss before interest and taxes for this period amounted to EUR 0.1 million (prev. year: loss of EUR 0.2 million), while the post-tax loss totalled EUR 0.1 million (prev. year: loss of EUR 0.4 million). Cash flow from operating activities improved to EUR 5.2 million in the first nine months (prev. year: EUR 1.9 million). Order intake equalled EUR 10.6 million in the third quarter (prev. year: EUR 9.7 million), while the order backlog at the end of the quarter totalled EUR 15.0 million (prev. year: EUR 14.9 million). At September 30, 2006, the equity ratio of the United Labels Group stood at 73.1%.
