SALE OF SHARES HELD IN POPOLARE VITA S.p.A.

Bologna, 29 March 2018

Following previous communications to the market in this regard, it is hereby announced that the sale of the investment held by UnipolSai Assicurazioni S.p.A. in Popolare Vita S.p.A. to Banco BPM S.p.A. was concluded today, equal to 21,960,001 shares for the price of €535.5m.

UnipolSai Assicurazioni S.p.A. is the insurance company of the Unipol Group, Italian leader in Non-Life Business, in particular in vehicle liability insurance.
