This Current Report on Form 8-K/A amends certain information included in a Current Report on Form 8-K filed by Union Pacific Corporation (the Company) on April 5, 2016, regarding the election of Jane H. Lute to the Board of Directors of the Company ( the Board) on April 5, 2016. The Board did not appoint Ms. Lute to serve on any of its committees at the time of her election. At a regular meeting of the Board held on July 28, 2016, the Board appointed Ms. Lute to serve on the Audit Committee and Corporate Governance and Nominating Committee.
