UNIEURO S.P.A.: CLOSING FOR THE ACQUISITION OF 5 GALIMBERTI S.P.A. STORES FINALIZED

Forlì, 30 October 2018 – Unieuro S.p.A. (MTA: UNIR), the largest omnichannel distributor of consumer electronics and household appliances by number of stores in Italy, completed today the closing of the acquisition of a set of stores belonging to Galimberti S.p.A., in arrangement with creditors, as previously announced on 12 October.

The acquired assets include 5 stores, currently operating under the Euronics banner, located in Villafranca di Verona, San Giorgio delle Pertiche (Padua), Castelfranco Veneto (Treviso), Pergine Valsugana (Trento) and Fiume Veneto (Pordenone), which are expected to reopen to customers with the new brand Unieuro by the peak season.

Coinciding with the closing, Unieuro proceeded to pay the balance for the price of the assets acquired, net of employees liabilities.
