THE UNICENTER PROJECT HAS BEEN LAUNCHED FOR THE CREATION OF A TIER IV GREEN DATA CENTER IN ROME, WITH A POWER OF APPROXIMATELY 20 MW AND OVER 2,000 RACK OF CAPACITY, FOR A TOTAL SURFACE AREA OF 13,000 SQM

Roma, 23 March 2026 – Unidata S.p.A. (UD.MI), a telecommunications, cloud and IoT services operator, listed on the Euronext Milan market – STAR Segment, organised and managed by Borsa Italiana S.p.A., following the previous agreements signed and communicated to the market on 13 July 2021 and 22 June 2022, announces that, on today's date, it has established UniCenter S.p.A. jointly with Azimut Libera Impresa SGR S.p.A, as management company of the closed-end infrastructure alternative investment fund under Italian law, reserved for professional investors, called "Fondo Infrastrutture per la Crescita – ESG" (the "Fund"), for the creation of a green data center located in Roma.

UniCenter S.p.A. – 75% owned by the Fund and 25% by Unidata, of which Unidata will have operational management – will build a green and neutral TIER IV data center in Rome, with a capacity of approximately 20 MW and over 2,000 racks of capacity, covering a total surface area of 13,000 sqm. It will serve a national and international customer base, using energy from renewable sources. UniCenter will operate in a wholesale-only capacity, while Unidata will continue to independently provide services and/or carry out activities in the sector through its two data centers in Rome and Milan and through UniCenter's infrastructure for those customers requiring services with a capacity greater than 30 KW.

The expected initial investment for the green data center will be € 5.7 million from Unidata and € 51.3 million from the Fund.
