Appointment of Non-Executive Chairperson

E2 Metals ( E2 or the Company ) is pleased to announce the appointment of Brad Evans as Non-Executive Chairman of the Company, with effect 22 April 2021.
Brad is a highly experienced and degree qualified Mining Engineer with nearly 25 years’ experience in the minerals industry spanning across operations, technical and consulting roles. Brad’s operational and technical experience is spread across Australia and South America where he has consulted on mining project in Peru, Chile, Mexico, and Argentina.
Brad has held director positions with Kidman Resources where he served as a Non-Executive Director for 5 years prior to its 2019 takeover by Wesfarmers Ltd for A$776 million. During this time, Brad chaired the Remuneration and Nomination Committee and was a member of the Audit Committee. Brad was also a director with NYSE listed Tierra Grande Resources.
As General Manager of an international mining consultancy, Brad built a successful global company with over 150 employees in 10 offices around the world. Brad led the brand development, marketing and administration functions while maintaining his professional and technical capability. Brad is an operations specialist focussed on business and operations strategy, team engagement and value optimisation and has applied his skills from late-stage exploration through to brownfields operations.
Ms Melanie Leydin steps down as Chair and but remains on the Board as a Non-Executive Director.
Melanie Leydin stated “ We are excited to welcome Brad to the Board of E2 Metals at this important juncture in the Company’s history as we advance the Company’s flagship Conserrat gold and silver project in Argentina and seek to bolster the Company with mining and project development expertise. Through his experience with Kidman Resources and an international consultancy, Brad brings valuable experience and is well placed to lead the Board and support the Manging Director through the next phase of the Company’s growth and success.”
