Electra Private Equity PLC ("Electra") is pleased to announce the appointment of Stephen Welker to the Board of Directors.  Stephen is a Partner in Sherborne Investors and has been an adviser to Electra during the Company's transformation that was initiated in 2015.  He has also been a non-executive director of TGI Fridays, an Electra portfolio company, since 2017.

Electra also announces that Edward Bramson is today resigning from the Board of Directors.  Ed has served as a Director since 2015 and, during 2016 and 2017, served as CEO.  Ed has decided to stand down as a Director due to his many other commitments.

Stephen Welker has not been a director of any publicly quoted companies during the previous five years.  There is no other information concerning Stephen Welker which is required to be disclosed pursuant to paragraph 9.6.13 R of the Listing Rules.

Electra Chairman, Neil Johnson, said:
