Transparency notification by APG Asset Management: Acquisition of voting securities

In accordance with article 14, § 1 of the law of 2 May 2007 on disclosure of major holdings APG Asset Management has notified the FSMA and Umicore on 24 October 2016 that on 21 October 2016 it has crossed the statutory threshold of 3%, holding 3.00% of Umicore's shares and voting rights.
