Disposal of relevant ownership position

São Paulo, August 29, 2022 – Ultrapar Participações S.A. (B3: UGPA3 / NYSE: UGP, “Ultrapar”), in compliance with CVM Resolution 44/21, hereby informs that it was notified by the shareholders Squadra Investimentos – Gestão de Recursos LTDA. and Squadra Investments – Gestão de Recursos LTDA. (“Squadra”) that they reached an aggregate ownership position of 4.99% of common shares issued by Ultrapar as of August 26, 2022, amounting to 55,690,000 shares.

Said position is represented by (i) 42,050,000 common shares and (ii) 13,640,000 common shares referenced in derivative instruments with physical settlement. Squadra also holds a short economic exposure through derivative instruments with physical settlement referenced to 7,200,000 common shares. Of the total reported above, 6,982,952 common shares are donated on loan.

Finally, Squadra also declared that it does not intend to change Ultrapar's control composition or administrative structure.
