São Paulo, Brazil, June 20, 2007 – ULTRAPAR PARTICIPAÇÕES S.A. (BOVESPA:UGPA4/NYSE:UGP), a company engaged in the fuels distribution (Ultragaz/Ipiranga), production of chemicals (Oxiteno), and in providing integrated logistics solutions for special bulk cargo (Ultracargo), hereby informs that, at a meeting of the Board of Directors held on June 19, 2007, at 2:30 pm, the Board members discussed the Company’s expansion projects and matters related to the acquisition of the business of Ipiranga Group.
