Statement re. Ignis Asset Management

The Board of UK Commercial Property Trust (the 'Company') notes today's announcement by Phoenix Group Holdings that it has agreed terms with Standard Life plc for the sale of Ignis Asset Management.  The Board notes that the sale is conditional upon regulatory approval and is expected to be completed by the second quarter of 2014. 

The Company has, since its inception in 2006, retained Ignis Investment Services, a subsidiary of Ignis Asset Management, as its external investment manager.  The Board will monitor the situation carefully and update shareholders as appropriate.
