Directorate Changes

UIL Limited ("UIL" or the "Company") announces that Eric Stobart and Warren McLeland have advised the Board that they intend to step down from the Board following publication of UIL's report and accounts for the year ending 30 June 2019, which is expected to take place in September 2019. 

The Board would like to thank both Mr Stobart, for his wise counsel and valuable contribution since his appointment as a non-executive director of the Company in 2007 and as chair of the Audit & Risk Committee; and Mr McLeland, for his insightful guidance and expertise since his appointment in 2013 and in supporting Somers Limited as chairman, UIL's largest investment.

The Nomination Committee will be commencing a recruitment process to identify candidates with a view to appointing a new non-executive director who will also chair the Audit & Risk Committee.  Following that appointment, the UIL Board will comprise five directors.
