  • CFC Industriebeteiligungen acquires exclusive license for trademark
'Hirsch' for the fashion collection Autumn / Winter 08
              Dortmund, 04. March 2008

CFC 5. Zwischenholding GmbH, a 100 % subsidiary of CFC
Industriebeteiligungen GmbH & Co. KGaA group, acquired yesterday the
exclusive license to use the trademark 'Hirsch' for the fashion collection
Autumn / Winter 08/09 . This step was facilitated by the fact that stock
listed Hirsch AG, Düsseldorf, filed for insolvency on 24. January 2008.
Parallel to the licensing the intense negotiations for the final
acquisition of the trademark 'Hirsch' are going on with the preliminary
receiver of Hirsch AG.

Hirsch is famous for high-value woman´s outer garments and holds high
competencies in the segment of ladies skirts. In the fiscal year 2006/7 the
company generated a turnover of approximately € 30 Mio.

CFC 5. Zwischenholding is a sister company to delmod international, who was
acquired by CFC in December 2007, and is also operating in the same
segment of high-value woman´s outer garments. The value-added process
regarding production and supply chain for the Hirsch collection will be
provided by delmod. This offers the customers of Hirsch the necessary
assurance, that no insolvency related quality or supply difficulties will
occur.

Marcus Linnepe, CEO of CFC Industriebeteiligungen states highly satisfied:
'I am pleased about the acquisition of the exclusive license for the
traditional brand 'Hirsch'. I would like to thank especially the
preliminary receiver Dr. Nehrlich. His co operational attitude made it
possible to keep 'Hirsch' in the market. The cooperation with delmod in
production and supply assures to all customers, a continuing business
relation with the well known Hirsch quality and fit.
