DAVENPORT APPOINTS UK BROKER
Davenport Resources Ltd (ASX: DAV, “ Davenport ”, “The Company”) is pleased to announce the appointment of Cenkos Securities plc, a leading, independent securities firm in the UK focused on small and mid-cap companies, as its UK broker, as it progresses development of its European potash projects.
Davenport has appointed Cenkos to assist in broadening the Company's investor base, in particular to increase its exposure to UK and continental European institutional investors.
Dr. Reinout Koopmans, interim Non-Executive Chairman of Davenport Resources commented: "We are very pleased with the appointment of Cenkos Securities as UK Broker for the company. Cenkos has a tremendous franchise in small and mid-cap companies and deep expertise in junior mining stocks. For Davenport, this is an important milestone in its effort to expand investor appeal beyond its strong traditional support from Australian investors."
Davenport has a portfolio of at least four standalone potash projects in the South Harz region of Germany, and has completed positive technical studies for three projects. It is focused initially on the development of the Ohmgebirge, Ebeleben and Nohra-Elende projects and is continuing discussions with potential project partners and other stakeholders to achieve this.
The appointment of Cenkos Securities as its UK broker follows Board changes announced earlier this month and is the latest step in the Company's work to ensure it is best placed to access European investors alongside attracting potential project development partners.
This announcement has been approved by the Board of Directors of the Company.
