Bugün saat 13:30 sularında Tüpraş İzmit Rafinerisi'nde PLT-33 izomerizasyon ünitesinde yangın meydana gelmiştir.  Rafineri ekiplerince olaya anında müdahale edilmiş olup, ilk tespitlere göre 12 çalışma arkadaşımız hafif şekilde yaralanmış ve tetkikler için hastaneye sevk edilmiştir. Halihazırda yangın söndürülmüş olup,  ünite kontrollü bir şekilde devre dışı bırakılmıştır. Rafineride diğer faaliyetlerimiz normal bir şekilde devam etmektedir.

Söz konusu yangının faaliyetlerimizde ve finansal durumumuzda önemli bir etki oluşturması beklenmemektedir.

İşbu açıklamamızın İngilizce çevirisi ekte yer almakta olup, açıklama metinlerinde herhangi bir farklılık olması durumunda, Türkçe açıklama esas kabul edilecektir.

At around 13.30 today, a fire occurred in PLT-33 Isomerisation Unit at Tüpraş İzmit Refinery. The refinery teams promptly intervened in the incident; preliminary reports show that 12 of our colleagues have sustained minor injuries and were taken to the hospital for assessment. The fire has been extinguished and the unit has been securely shut down. Our other operations in the refinery continue as usual.

The fire is not expected to have a important impact on our operational and financial performance.
