MANAGING DIRECTOR OF TUNGSTEN MINING TO MOVE TO NON-EXECUTIVE ROLE
Mr Paul Berndt, the managing director of Tungsten Mining (TGN, the Company) has announced his intention to stand down from his role to pursue other opportunities. Mr Berndt will continue as a Non-Executive Director, and will provide consultancy services to the Company.
The Company would like to thank Mr Berndt for his outstanding contribution in his two years with TGN. As inaugural Managing Director he oversaw its IPO in December 2012, and the growth of the Company since then. Mr Berndt will transition to an NED role from 1 August 2014.
The Non-Executive Chairman of TGN, Patrick McManus stated “Paul has been a significant contributor to the progress achieved by TGN, advancing the Kilba project to a position where we can confidently commence the next stage of feasibility studies”
“Paul leaves with the Company well placed to achieve its objective of becoming a tungsten miner. The Board and I take this opportunity to thank Paul for the work he has done to take the project to this stage. We wish him the very best in his future endeavours”
