LR 9.6.11 announcement

20 July 2018 - Further to the announcement made on 17 April 2018 and in accordance with Rule 9.6.11 of the Listing Rules, Tullow Oil plc (Tullow) confirms that Dorothy Thompson was appointed Chair of the Board.  Dorothy succeeds Aidan Heavey, Tullow's founder, who has today stepped down as Chairman and retired from the Board.

Additional information:

Dorothy Thompson has also been appointed Chair of the Nominations Committee, with effect from 20 July 2018, replacing Jeremy Wilson, who remains a member of the committee. 

In accordance with section 430(2B) of the Companies Act 2006, the relevant remuneration details relating to Aidan Heavey will be made available on the Company's website and included in the Directors' Remuneration Report in the Annual Report and Accounts for the year ended 31 December 2018.
