TTL Info. Technology AG english

Ad hoc announcement transmitted by DGAP. The issuer is solely responsible for the content of this announcement. ——————————————————————————– Operating result above budget in the 1st quarter of 2001! TTL Information Technology AG, Munich, a provider of integrated IT services, once again achieved sizable growth in the 1st quarter of 2001. Turnover totaled 30.2 million DM as per 31 March 2001, 61 % up on the preceding years equivalent figure. If last years turnover from 1st DATA Solution Vertriebs GmbH (acquired last year and not consolidated until the 2nd quarter), the growth rate is 27 %, corresponding precisely to the budget for the 1st quarter of 2001. With an operating result (EBITA) of 1.4 million DM at the end of the 1st quarter, the company has even exceed its own budgeted target by 500,000 DM. Goodwill write-downs at 1st Data GmbH and BDI/Laguna result in an expense of 1.2 million DM; in addition, the company formed a valuation adjustment of 1.6 million DM on the special fund, in which resources from the last increase in cash equity have been invested. The result after taxes accordingly comes to minus 1.4 million DM, compared to 0.9 million DM in the preceding year, though then no acquisition had as yet been made, so that no goodwill write-down as required either. BDI Laguna in Atlanta, too, where TTL owns 20 % of the stock is up to budget. From a turnover of 46.7 million US$, EBIT of 2.5 million US$ were achieved. At the AGM on 2 May, TTLs managing board set itself the ambitious goal of achieving growth in earnings as well as turnover. The integration process of 1st Data Solution Vertriebs GmbH within the TTL Group is accordingly being accelerated, so as to exploit all existing synergies. Klaus-Dieter Beier (Sales/Marketing Director) was on 7 May 2001 appointed sole general manager of 1st DATA Solution Vertriebs GmbH. Under the integration program, the two facilities in Munich of TTL AG and 1st DATA Solution Vertriebs GmbH will be amalgamated before the end of this year. TTLs subsidiary TTL Consult IT will follow.
