Tryg has appointed Christian Baltzer as new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) as of 1 May 2016. Christian Baltzer will succeed Tor Magne Loennum, who will, as previously announced, leave Tryg by the end of April 2016.
Christian Baltzer is 37 years old and an actuary graduated from the Copenhagen University with management courses from The Wharton School in Pennsylvania. He has previously worked for GE Insurance in the USA and Denmark as well as Swiss Re, before joining Tryg in 2009.
In Tryg, Christian Baltzer has been Head of different central analytic and development functions and part of the Group Finance Management. Additionally, in close co-operation with the current CFO, Tor Magne Loennum, he has been the main architect of several extensive changes in Tryg's targeted effort to strengthen the company's product development, reduce time to market and implement price differentiation on all Tryg's main products.
As of 1 May 2016, the Executive Board of Tryg A/S and Tryg Forsikring A/S constitutes CEO Morten Hubbe, COO Lars Bonde and CFO Christian Baltzer.
