Dissemination of a UK Regulatory Announcement, transmitted by DGAP - a company of EquityStory AG. The issuer is solely responsible for the content of this announcement. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Morten Huebbe will succeed Stine Bosse as Group CEO with effect from 1 February 2011.Tryg's Supervisory Board has - with regret - received Group CEO Stine Bosse's resignation, but the Board respects her decision. In accordance with corporate governance, the Supervisory Board has worked on the question of continuity and succession in the Group's Executive Management.
Therefore, after today's Board meeting, the Supervisory Board is pleased to announce that as of 1 February 2011, CFO Morten Huebbe will take over as Group CEO of Tryg. Morten Huebbe is 39 years old and joined Tryg in 2002. For more than 7 years, the Supervisory Board has followed Morten Huebbe's successful work as CFO and member of the Executive Management of Tryg A/S, and Morten Huebbe will therefore take over this new position with thorough knowledge of all central corners of Tryg.
At the same time, we are pleased to announce that the Supervisory Board has in consultation with Morten Huebbe appointed Group Executive Vice President Lars Bonde as member of the Executive Management of Tryg A/S. Subsequently, he will - together with Morten Huebbe - constitute the day-to-day top management of the Group. Lars Bonde is Group Executive Vice President of Tryg's largest Nordic business area, Customer Service & Sales Direct. He has been Group Executive Vice President for 4 years, and previously he was in charge of Tryg's Corporate business area. Lars Bonde is 45 years old and joined Tryg in 1998.
Since Morten Huebbe will be in charge of Tryg's Group Executive Management, the Supervisory Board has decided to employ a new CFO as soon as possible.
The Supervisory Board and Stine Bosse have agreed that she will continue as Group CEO until 31 January 2011. After that date, she will be at the Group's disposal for the following 6 months. In accordance with a competition clause, Stine Bosse is excluded from working for any other financial business until 1 August 2012.
Yours sincerely
Mikael Olufsen Chairman of the Supervisory Board
