STRATEGIC UPDATE

Triton Gold Ltd (ASX: “TON” “Company”) wishes to announce that it has concluded a strategic review of its current exploration projects and of other potential projects in which it can partner. As a result, the Board believes that it should review in more depth a number of developing opportunities in order to ensure that the Company is focussed on obtaining a key project with a strong chance of success. Accordingly, the Company has scaled back its current exploration programme whilst consideration of these opportunities is underway.

The Board believes that this new strategy to consider various opportunities for new projects will facilitate a strengthening of the Company’s current portfolio of projects and will ultimately assist in securing the Company’s financial position and future growth potential.

Due to the potential change in the strategic direction of the Company, the current Managing Director and CEO of the Company, Mr. Allen Lance Govey has decided to resign. Mr. Govey has provided the Company three (3) months notice and shall continue in his capacity as the Managing Director and CEO of the Company, during that notice period. The Company would like to thank Mr. Govey for all of his efforts and contributions and wish him all the best in his future endeavours.

The Company will provide an update to the market on future developments, as it progresses with the implementation of the new strategic direction.
