The Texprocil Annual Export Award Function for the year 2017-18 was held today i.e. Saturday, November 3, 2018 at Hotel Hyatt Regency, Sahar Airport Road, Andheri (E), Mumbai – 400099, wherein The Honourable Union Minister of Textiles, Smt. Smriti Zubin Irani was the Chief Guest.

The award has been conferred upon Trident Limited in recognition of its achievement in meeting internationally accepted quality standards and adopting best industry practices.

TEXPROCIL honours Trident

Ludhiana, India -November 3, 2018: Trident Limited, the flagship Company of Trident Group, which is one of the largest vertically integrated Home Textile (Yarn, Bath & Bed Linen) manufacturer, has been awarded:

• Gold Trophy for the Second Highest Global Exports (Overall)

• Silver Trophy for the Second Highest Exports of 'Terry Towels' under Category III

• Silver Trophy for the Second Highest Exports of 'Bed Linen/Bed Sheets/Quilts' under Category II

by The Cotton Textiles Export Promotion Council (TEXPROCIL) at its Annual Export Awards function on 3[rd ] November 2018 at Mumbai. The awards were presented to the outstanding export performers in the cotton textile industry.

Smt. Smriti Zubin Irani, Hon’ble Union Minister of Textiles, Govt. of India congratulated all the winners.

Trident has been on a winning streak for its performance in exports, having bagged more than 20 awards since 2005.This achievement alludes to the group’s exports amounting to more than INR 2250 Crores in the financial year 2017-18.
