The following is a Company Announcement issued by Trident Estates plc (the "Company") pursuant to the Malta Financial Services Authority Listing Rules 5.13, 5.20 and 5.21.

The Company announces that subject to regulatory approval, Dr Max Ganado relinquished his post of Non-Executive Director of the Company with effect from 22 February 2018 and Mr Charles Borg was appointed in his stead as from that date.

Mr Charles Borg F.C.I.B., M.A. (Fin Serv), B.A. (Hons) resides at 114, Mater Alba, Triq il-Pont, Santa Maria Estate, Mellieha. He is currently the Chairman of IG Finance p.l.c., Virtu Finance p.l.c. and 1923 Investments p.l.c.. Mr Borg is also a director and CEO of PG p.l.c..

During the past five years Mr Borg was a Director of Mapfre Middlesea plc and CEO of Bank of Valletta plc.

No matter concerning Mr Borg requires disclosure in terms of Listing Rules 5.20.5 to 5.20.9.
