Court Approves Acquisition of Edge Minerals Limited

Further to its ASX Release of 21 October 2022, Trek Metals Limited (ASX: TKM) ( Trek or the Company ) is pleased to advise that the Supreme Court of Western Australia (“Court”) has made orders approving the Scheme of Arrangement by which Trek will acquire the issued shares in Edge Minerals Limited.

It is expected that Edge will lodge a copy of the Court’s orders with the Australian Securities and Investments Commission, at which time the Scheme will become legally effective.

The key dates expected for the Scheme are set out below:

Trading in New Trek Shares issued as Scheme Consideration to commence on a deferred settlement basis	28 October 2022
Record Date for determining entitlements to the Scheme Consideration	1 November 2022
Implementation Date for the issue of Scheme Consideration to Edge Scheme Shareholders	8 November 2022
Trading in New Trek Shares issued as Scheme Consideration to commence on a normal (T+2) basis	8 November 2022
