Extension of Closin Date for Ri hts Issue g g

The Board of Zambezi Resources Limited ( “ZRL” ) has decided to extend the closing date for the acceptance of applications for the 1 for 3 pro rata non-renounceable Rights Issue announced on 30 January 2014 ( “Entitlement Offer” ).

The closing date for the Entitlement Offer is now 5:00 pm (Perth time), Friday, 14 March 2014 .

The extension of the closing date, originally falling on 28 February 2014, has been made to give eligible shareholders more time in light of the adjournment of an inter parte appeal hearing in respect of the Company’s 100% owned Kangaluwi Copper Project in Zambia until 5 March 2014 (as announced today).

The revised timetable for the remaining dates is set out below:
