Zambezi's pro rata non-renounceable rights issue – Extension of closing date for Entitlement Offer

The Board of Zambezi Resources Limited (“ZRL”) has decided to extend the closing date for the acceptance of applications for the 2 for 3 non-renounceable pro rata entitlement offer announced on 20 August 2012 (“Entitlement Offer”).

The closing date for the Entitlement Offer is now 5.00pm (Perth time), Tuesday, 2 October 2012 .

The extension of the closing date, originally falling on 17 September 2012, has been made to give eligible shareholders more time to consider the recent development in relation to ZRL’s Environmental Impact Study as announced on 13 September 2012. The announcement can be viewed on the Australian Securities Exchange website, www.asx.com.au, or alternatively on the Company website, www.zambeziresources.com.

The revised timetable for the remaining dates is set out below:
