Notification of a Transaction of a Director

In accordance with Disclosure and Transparency Rule 3.1.2. (R), the Company was notified on 12 March 2013 that Richard Hope, Group Finance Director, had acquired 277 Ordinary shares of the Company at a price of 429p per share, pursuant to a dividend reinvestment plan.  The transaction took place on 12 March.

The shares are registered in the name of Alliance Trust Savings Nominees Limited.

Following the transaction the total beneficial holding of Richard Hope is 11,824 shares being 0.11% of the issued share capital of the Company.
