Board Appointment

Treatt plc, the manufacturer and supplier of ingredient solutions for the flavour, fragrance and FMCG industries, announces that Richard Illek will be appointed as a Non-executive Director of the Company, with effect from 1st June 2016.

Richard retired from PepsiCo effective 31 March 2016, following 28 years with the company, during which time he served in various senior roles around the world including Plant Manager, QA Manager and Technical Services Director, culminating in his most recent role as a Senior Director Manufacturing and Formulations.

Commenting on Mr Illek's appointment Tim Jones, Chairman of Treatt, said "I would like to welcome Richard to Treatt.  He has been familiar with Treatt's business for many years and brings a new perspective to the Board from within a sector of the industry which is a strategic priority for Treatt."

Treatt confirms that there is no further information to be disclosed under the requirements of Listing Rule 9.6.13 in relation to this appointment and Mr Illek does not have any interest in the shares of Treatt.
