(b) On January 14, 2021, Richard C. Woodman, MD, Senior Vice President, Chief Medical Officer of Onconova Therapeutics, Inc. (the “Company”), resigned from the Company effective January 15, 2021 to assume a position with another company. The Company wishes Dr. Woodman well, waived the notice period required under his employment agreement, and thanked Dr. Woodman for his scientific contributions and leadership setting the foundation with the Company’s President, CEO and former Chief Medical Officer Steven M. Fruchtman, MD for the ongoing research and development of the Company’s compounds.
