Notification of Director or PDMR share interest

The board of the Travis Perkins plc ('the Company') has been notified today that John Carter, a Director of the company, has chosen to use his Loyalty Recognition Award, marking 35 years' service with the Company, to purchase 53 Partnership Shares at a price of 1861p, on the 4th November 2013. 

Partnership Shares are ordinary shares of 10p each in the Company ('shares'), which may be purchased, using deductions from pre-tax salary either monthly or by a one-off lump sum as part of the Company's Buy As You Earn scheme.

As a result of this transaction, Mr Carter's beneficial ownership now stands at 164,712 shares, less than 0.01% of the issued share capital.
