Item 8.01 Other Events.

On June 9, 2011, Transcat, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing that the NASDAQ Stock Market approved the Company’s application to transfer its common stock listing to the NASDAQ Global Market commencing June 13, 2011. The Company’s common stock was previously listed on the NASDAQ Capital Market.

The press release is attached to this Form 8-K as Exhibit 99.1.
