MOD contract award to support

next generation military communications

TP Group (AIM: TPG), the provider of mission-critical solutions for a more secure world, is pleased to announce a new order for Consulting and Digital Services from the UK Ministry of Defence (MOD) worth £1.1m.  

TP Group will be working on the MOD's £3.2bn MORPHEUS Programme to scope the next generation of applications that will be used by military personnel deployed around the world to exploit information faster and enable better decision making.

This contract sits within the broader LE TacCIS (Land Environment Tactical Communications and Information Systems) Programme where the Army is transforming its global military communications and information management.  Supporting this programme since 2016, TP Group is providing guidance on requirements capture, and matching these with emerging technologies to remain future proof and avoid being locked into a single approach, equipment type or technical solution.

This work adds to a number of smaller contract wins for TP Group's emerging Digital Services Delivery offering that combines activities previously provided separately by its Consulting and Software & Digital Solutions businesses. This holistic approach to implementing complex digital programmes balances technical, commercial and user aspects to help customers use information and make better decisions in critical activities.

TP Group's offering is well-timed to support the Government's current demand for responsive software that can be developed and updated at pace, coupled with an acceleration in digital transformation across multiple sectors.

This contract win is not material in the context of the financial performance of the Group.
