Tower Resources plc ("Tower"), LN: TRP, the AIM listed oil and gas exploration company, was informed on 11 January that Agile Energy Limited purchased 750,000 ordinary shares of Tower on the same day at an average price of 2.285p per share.

This brings Agile Energy Limited's total shareholding to 185,000,000 shares equating to 11.39 per cent of the issued share capital of Tower.

Agile Energy Limited is owned by the Asher Family Trust, of which Jeremy Asher, the non-executive Chairman of Tower, is the lifetime beneficiary.
