Senior Management Appointment

Tower Resources plc ('Tower'), LN: TRP, the AIM listed oil and gas exploration company, is pleased to announce that Andrew Matharu is joining the Company as Vice President Corporate Affairs on 11 March 2013.

Andrew, 43, joins from Westhouse Securities, where he was Head of Oil & Gas and focussed on the small and mid-cap E&P sector. He has over 17 years' experience in the oil and gas sector and commenced his career as a Petroleum Engineer with Chevron and Kerr-McGee. Andrew has extensive experience of advising oil & gas companies in the area of equity capital markets following a variety of corporate finance and equity research roles at Cazenove, Bridgewell Securities, Numis Securities and PwC.  

Andrew holds a B.Eng. degree in Chemical Engineering from University of Sheffield, a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Cambridge and is a Chartered Engineer.

Tower's CEO, Graeme Thomson, commented:
