Tower Limited Trading Halt Request

Request for extension to trading halt: Tower Limited - ASX Code TWR, NZX Code TWR

On 26 June, Tower requested a trading halt be applied to our securities under ASX Listing Rule 17.1 until the close of trading on Monday 26 June. ASX granted the request and implemented a trading halt to be applied until the commencement of trading on Wednesday 28 June.

We are submitting this request to clarify that we would like the trading halt to continue until the commencement of trading on Wednesday 28 June, in line with ASX’s market release on Monday 26 June.

Reasons for trading halt : Tower Limited received an updated takeover proposal from Suncorp Group Limited over the weekend. The board are evaluating the updated proposal and anticipate making a further market announcement before commencement of trading on Wednesday 28 June.

How long we want the trading halt to last : Until the earlier of release of the further market announcement, and commencement of trading on Wednesday 28 June 2017 on the ASX.

We confirm that we are not aware of any reason why the trading halt should not be granted.
