12 Month COPD Programme agreed with NHS Sutton CCG

Totally (AIM; TLY) announces that Totally Health Ltd ("Totally Health"), the Company's wholly owned subsidiary and the provider of a range of services to the healthcare sector, has been appointed by NHS Sutton Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) to deliver a clinical health coaching programme focused on the management of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) which is one of the most prevalent Long Term Conditions in the UK.

During the course of the programme, Totally Health will work with a specific cohort of 100 patients, diagnosed with COPD, over a twelve month period, to help the patients to better manage their own conditions. The expected revenues from this agreement are £100,000.   

Chief Executive Wendy Lawrence said, "This is our third agreement with a London-based CCG following the recently announced contracts with Waltham Forest and Newham. In this calendar year we have already announced three new contracts and one renewal and extension.

"There are approximately 211 Clinical Commissioning Groups in England and we now work with six of them, normally with one disease area, which suggests that we have many opportunities for growth. I am delighted that our pipeline of new business continues to look very encouraging.

"It is a sad fact that, because of the ageing UK population and the increasing incidence of obesity, one quarter of people, that is around 15 million people, have a long term condition such as  diabetes, COPD and asthma.

"Shareholders should note that the National Health Service estimates that £7 out of every £10 spent in England on health and social care is supporting people diagnosed with a Long Term Condition."

Totally's services have been shown to reduce costs for Clinical Commissioning Groups by, for example, reducing unplanned admissions to hospitals and visits to Accident and Emergency Departments.
