TECHNICAL TEAM EXPANDED WITH KEY APPOINTMENTS

Perth-based, Western Australian-focused gold explorer Torque Metals Limited (“ Torque ” or “the Company”) ( ASX:TOR ) is pleased to announce two key appointments to assist in the Company’s significant exploration program across its wholly-owned Paris Project located on the richly gold endowed Boulder-Lefroy Fault Zone, south east of Kalgoorlie in Western Australia.

The Company has recently appointed Cristian Moreno as its Senior Geoscientist. In this role, Mr Moreno is responsible for innovative and disruptive exploration methodology, utilising all available technology in designing Company resource targets. His role will also include assisting the technical team in new project generation.

Mr Moreno has over five years’ international experience in various roles including as an exploration and project geologist for gold exploration and producing companies and for oil and gas companies. Most recently, he held the role of Project Geologist for Australian gold producer RED5 Limited and was previously geophysical and geological manager of nonseismic-services as well as exploration geologist for BGP INC. China National Petroleum Corporation.

He holds a high distinction in Masters of Science majoring in Geophysics from Curtin University (2020 – 2021), a Bachelor of Science with First Class Honours in Geology (2013 – 2017) and Bachelor of Engineering with First Class Honours in Agricultural Engineering (2007-2013) both from The National University of Colombia. He is currently enrolled in Masters of Science majoring in Statistics and Data Science from KU Leuven University.

In addition, David Benporath has been appointed and will commence work in early December. His role will be as Senior Geologist in support of the Company’s Exploration Manager at the Paris and Bullfinch gold projects.

Mr Benporath has four years’ experience in the field having previously worked as a project geologist with Capricorn Copper in Queensland and Breaker Resources in Western Australia. He holds a Bachelor of Earth Science Geology with Distinction from Queensland University of Technology (QUT) Australia.
