Topdanmark A/S expects net profit for 2021 of around DKK 2.1 billion

Topdanmark now expects net profit for 2021 to be around DKK 2.1 billion. The higher result is primarily driven by a higher investment return, estimated run-off, and the absence of large weather-related events in Q4 2021, but also by an improvement of the underlying claims trend from the level assumed in the profit forecast model released in the interim report for Q1-Q3 2021.

The result of the previous profit forecast model for 2021 was DKK 1,750-1,800m excl. run-off in Q4 2021.

The final figures will be stated in Topdanmark's announcement of the annual results for 2021, due for release on Friday 21 January 2022 at approx. 12:00 CET, where we will be able to comment further.
